About Me

I was born in a music lover family.My father(Shri.Vivek Gadgil) is a tabla player and deciple of (Late Pt.Samta Prasadji,Late Pt.Sudhirkumar Saxena & Late Pt.Chandrakant Kamat.). Naturally I was initiated in music by my father.I had initial training in Tabla & vocal music from my father. Realizing my interest towords  Sitar my father sent me to Late Sudhir Phdakeji for initial training in sitar.By the grace of the almighty God I got a chance of getting further training in sitar from the worldfamous Sitar Maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez ji of( Etawah Gharana).I am taking traning with Ustadji since last 10 years in Gurukul style.I think myself most lucky person to get traned from such a great artist(Ustad Shahid Parvezji).I have performed my art in many major cities in India such as Nagpur ,Pune,Hydrabad,Allahbad,Aurangabad.etc.Ihave been Rewarded by the Faomus Ganwardhan Sanstha based in Pune.I hav Passion in Sitar Playing and Wish to be a famous Sitar player.thank you.
